Pinot Grigio is a new addition to the False Cape brand. The grapes were hand harvested from Jamie and Julie Helyar’s vineyard before being pressed using only the free run juice to avoid any colour pick up and to keep the freshness and purity of the fruit intact.
Cool fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks between 11° and 16°C before minimal lees ageing and bottling.
The wine displays classic aromas of nashi pear and rose petals with hints of lemon. The palate is fresh and juicy, with flavours of fresh pear and a lingering crisp finish.
Perfect with seafood dishes such as panfried King George whiting or salt and pepper squid.
