2021 Winemaker’s Selection Shiraz
A true reserve, our WS Shiraz is only produced in selected vintages from Greg’s very best 10 barrels of shiraz.
The 2021 WS Shiraz utilises 70% old vine fruit (50 years old) from traditional flood plain and 30% younger vine fruit (20 years old) from lighter soils off the flood plain.
The older vine material provides the classic rich soft plummy, chocolatey characters, with the younger material adding to the perfume and overall brightness of the wine.
This wine which will improve with cellaring over the next 15 years. With only 300 dozen produced, there is very restricted availability.
