taste wine history

We are fortunate to have been selected to join a small group of winemakers for a pop-up wine event, bringing together wine and history as a part of South Australia's 2023 History Festival.

Join us on the 5th of May for 'A Taste of Wine History'

Take a step back in time in the stunning Morlock Wing of the State Library of South Australia and immerse yourself in the tastes and tales from nine of SA's favourite wineries.

To accompany these delicious drops, an individual grazing box is included in the ticket price of $25 [+ GST and booking fee]. Additionally, a Great Wine Capital wine glass is yours to keep, and two tasting tokens are allocated to the wineries in attendance for you to redeem.

Additional wine is then available for purchase in wine flights and by ½ glass, glass or bottle [bottles can be packaged to take home too]. Tickets are extremely limited, so getting in early is advised to avoid missing out.

As a very special treat, a lecture from historian Carolyn Spooner “Wonderful World of Wine”, will take place prior to the wine-tasting session. This is free, but bookings are essential to secure your place. This lecture will be held in the Hetzel Lecture Theatre at 4 pm.
