Grapes for Good Bernoota

We are proud to partner with Monarto Safari Park as part of the ‘Grapes for Good’ initiative along with three other Langhorne Creek wineries. 

We have been sponsoring the Bongo, which are a critically endangered member of the antelope family, only found in Kenya.  Our Bernoota is available in these limited edition Bongo sleeves for a short time.

Part proceeds of our Bernoota sold at cellar door and online will go towards this important conservation program.

'Bernoota’ was the original name given to the homestead on the Lake Breeze property - it is an Aboriginal name for ‘camp among the gum trees’.

The 2023 ‘Bernoota’ is a blend of Shiraz (60%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), carefully selected from old vines on the Follett family vineyard.

The wine shows dark fruit characters of blackberry and plums, with a hint of choc mint and smoky oak aromas. The palate encompasses all of the trademark Langhorne Creek fruit sweetness and soft tannins.
