False Cape

In 1999 we purchased a piece of land on Kangaroo Island's Dudley Peninsula, in partnership with Greg's sister Julie and her husband Jamie Helyar.

We commenced planting vineyards in 1999 and developed the False Cape wine brand.  Jamie harvests and trucks the grapes over here to Lake Breeze for Greg to handcraft into wine.

Julie and Jamie have built a rustic cellar door on the vineyard and offer wine tastings and lunch every day.  There's plenty to keep the kids busy with a nature playground and basketball backboard.
