Back in March 1991, the Follett family opened their cellar door and so began the rewarding journey of welcoming wine lovers from all over Australia to taste the newly released wines under the 'Lake Breeze Wines' label.
Initially the wine list consisted of simply Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, our Bernoota blend and our Old Windmill Tawny Port.
Our cellar door has seen a few changes over the years, with the expansion in 2013 to include our restaurant overlooking the vineyard, and more recently, and more significantly the construction of our function space, The Barrel Room.
Lake Breeze has become a vibrant destination for weddings and family celebrations, set amongst the picturesque vineyards, roses and towering gum trees. And the spotlight is thrown on Lake Breeze each November when our Handpicked Festival is held on our beautiful big lawn, entertaining close to 8,000 festival-goers.
