Our annual Langhorne Creek Wine Show Luncheon is always a great occasion and we've been fortunate to host it in our own back yard at Lake Breeze again this year. It's a wonderful, well deserved celebration for our local wine community to come together to celebrate the end of vintage.
Announced during the luncheon, our recently released 2021 Malbec was awarded the Best Malbec trophy, which we then backed up with the Best Museum Wine for our Lake Breeze Cabernet Sauvignon 2015.
The show judged a record 225 entries from 32 exhibiting wineries, with 137 medals awarded. Amongst the esteemed judges were Associate Judges, comedian Merrick Watts and our very own, young Tyler Follett.
We were fortunate to enjoy a delicious menu prepared by Callum Hann and his talented Sprout crew.
Congratulations to our neighbours over the river, Bleasdale, taking out the Champion Wine of Show and to our good mates at Kimbolton for picking up the Producer of the year amongst other trophies.
Other Lake Breeze results from this year's Wine Show:
