Our 2012 The Drake featured amongst some very prestigious company this week. Esteemed UK wine writer and co-creator of The Great Australian Red challenge
Matthew Jukes, hosted a showcase of one of the most iconic and cellar-worthy Australian wines: the Cabernet Shiraz blend.
A panel of local wine industry personalities discussed the differences in region, style and blend, whilst tasting some of the world’s best examples of Cabernet Shiraz.The panel included Nick Ryan, Pablo Theodoros along with Matthew Jukes.
The Drake, a blend of Cab 81% and Shiraz 19% and was the only Langhorne Creek wine in the line up. It was great to have it poured on the evening as it's a wine we don't get to sample very often at all!
