We are incredibly honoured to have been awarded the Provenance Prize at this years Royal Adelaide Wine Show.
The Provenance Prize is the Royal Adelaide Wine Show’s most prestigious award. The Gramp, Hardy, Hill Smith Prize for National Wine of Provenance, was first introduced in 2009 in response to the growing interest and importance of identity and longevity of Australian fine wine.
The Provenance Prize judges three vintages of the same wine, spanning more than a decade and including the current release. Greg entered our 2022, 2016 and 2012 Arthur's Reserves, and clearly they impressed the judges.
It is humbling to be awarded this highly respected award for our Arthur's Reserve, after having been finalists on several occasions.
Our Arthur's Reserve is a tribute to our great grandfather, Arthur Follett. He planted the first vines on our family's property during the 1880's and was a remarkably progressive farmer, constructive member of the community and dedicated father.
