vintage 2026

Our 2026 Lake Breeze vintage is off to a slow start. Cool spring conditions last year, have led to late flowering, resulting in a long growing season and a slightly later than average vintage.

Now that summer has passed, we’re into a classic autumn weather pattern with mild days and cool nights, which is ideal for optimum flavour development.

April is shaping up to be the busiest month this vintage, with most red varieties still ripening. The early whites processed so far are showing excellent lifted aromatics and an elegant flavour profile. The chardonnay is happily fermenting in barrel, and it won't be long before the Moscato is bottled.
